The Coffee Shop

I often look at Ulzzang tumblrs for some make-up, fashion and photography inspirations. One of the things that I've noticed is the way they edit/process their photos. Their photos are always dreamy and always in pastel colors. Another thing is the location of their photo-shoots! Korea has a lot of coffee shops, especially in Seoul, so the locations are often inside a coffee shop. 

My friend, Karen, and I went to a Korean-themed coffee shop in Taft today. The coffee shop's name is Cafe de Seoul. And true to it's name, the cafe really gives a very Seoul-ish vibe. 

This cafe is one of the nicest cafes I've been to. The place is spacious and cozy. On top of that, it's also very well lit so it really makes a perfect location for photo-shoots! We took the photos in the afternoon and then came back at night but the cafe was still very bright! 

Anyway, this is what I wore to my 1st birthday celebration. lol. I tell my friends that this year, my birthday is going to be month-long and they are going to have to deal with that. It's not that I have primadonna complex or anything but I just want to celebrate with all the people important to me this time. The past years, I didn't really make a big deal out of my birthday. So, how about a month-long celebration this year for a change? ^^

I'm 28 this year and I'm not even ashamed to reveal my real age. Though, I'm still waiting for something big to happen in my life. Something like magic... or a miracle!
